University Squash I Lost to Brighton I in a close match.
With the home team having higher Gradings in 1 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.
On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 11 ranking points separating the two players before the match.
The Away player, Matt Lidington, did well therefore to secure the win.
It was the number 1 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 84 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player and Player of the match, Xiaomin Meng.
Player of the match must be the Away number 2 string, Matt Lidington, who over-turned a 11 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
